March has come and gone and with it many changes both personally and globally. It’s crazy to think that things mat be a little funky for some time now, but as long as we all work together and work on staying as positive as possible we will make it through. Now to the reading and blog related things I achieved this month… both have experienced a bit of disturbance among everything but I am hopeful that April brings a touch more of a flow.
Another month of 2019 has come and gone. I’ve really enjoyed posting a wrap up of each month to reflect on the books I’ve read and everything that has been involved in the month whether it be readathons or things in everyday life.
So this month I didn’t end up reading as much as I anticipated but I still think I did a pretty good job. I ended up reading 7 books. I read ‘Skyward’ By Joe Henderson et al; ‘The Outcast’ By Taran Matheru, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ By Cressida Cowell, ‘The Red Queen’ By Victoria Aveyard, ‘Estranged: Volume 1’ By Ethan M. Aldridge, ‘Exile’ By Samantha Shannon and ‘The Greatest Love Story Ever Told’ By Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman.
All of these together meant that – YAY – I passed SEVEN O.W.L.S Exams for the readathon a took part in in April.
March has been quite the month! The term is winding down and I am hoping my reading will be ramping up!
I ended up reading way more than I thought I would! I completed my Audiobook from February ‘Harry potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ before completing my planned TBR of ‘The Lost Sisters’; ‘The Wicked King’; ‘In an Absent Dream’ and ‘The Similars’. In addition I read ‘Fake Blood’; ‘Girl, Wash Your Face’ and ‘Keeper of the Lost Cities’.
Honestly this feels like way more than I’ve ever read in one month and I am so excited by it. It is really inspiring me to read even more in the months to come.
Oh my gosh, February has come and gone. I definitely didn’t get as much reading done as I would of liked but I’ve still done some which is what matter!
I ended up finishing ‘Crown of Midnight’ By Sarah J. Maas at the start of the month and proceeded to spend most of the month reading ‘Heir of Fire’ By Sarah J. Maas. These books are monsters and they really take me a while to get through, so instead of moving straight into ‘Queen of Shadows’ By Sarah J. Maas I decided to read something lighter and completed ‘Fence’ Volumes 1 & 2 By C.S. Pacat as well as ‘Bloom’ By
So this was a feature I have now transferred to my weekly updates but will still be posting into these monthly wrap ups. I’ve also started the ABC Book Challenge which will be a feature on my blog for a while. When it comes to life, things got pretty hectic in February and will be hectic for a while longer. We are in the process of moving, which is definitely not my favourite thing to do! But on more of a positive we have managed to book a photographer for our wedding which we are both really excited about! So its been a but of a crazy mixed bag these past four weeks!
