October Wrap Up

Spring has well and truly sprung and the days are getting longer and hotter! I feel like I definitely do less reading this time of year with so much going on at work, holidays coming up and things to organise so I am thankful for any time that I get to read.

I ended up reading 10 books this month, which is way more than I thought I was going too!

I absolutely LOVED reading ‘The Simple Wild’ by K.A. Tucker. I honestly wanted to start reading it again as soon as I’d finished!

October TBR

October seems to be the month that I’m giving myself a hell of a challenge. Why? I have no idea… But I think its because I want to read so many of my books!

Heres what I’m looking at reading in October

I’ve put 14 books on my TBR this month. I don’t think I am going to get to all of them but hopefully I can read the majority! My TBR has a really good mix of fantasy, contemporary and classic!

How was your October? What was the best book you read this month?

October TBR

Usually in October people focus on more spooky reads, which totally makes sense, however I am get scared very very easily, so I am steering clear of that. Although I am having the hardest time deciding what to read next. I genuinely have so many books on my shelves that I need to read – its a series problem – but I just can’t find a place to start.

My first book for the month will be to read ‘The Burning Maze’ By Rick Riordan, book 3 in the Trials of Apollo Series. I’ve been enjoying the series thus far and am keen to get up to day with the releases.

I have the ‘Magnus Chase’ Series to read as well, but I’ve been reading Rick Riordan books for 2 months straight and I think I need to give them a little rest before jumping into that series. My main concern being that I’ll get over them of go straight into them and maybe not enjoy them as much.

So my game plan: I’m going to finish ‘The Burning Maze’ By Rick Riordan and then see what I am vibing from my shelves, I’m hoping to read a couple of books that will actually count towards my A-Z Challenge as I haven’t had many books actually match up to letter I hadn’t already filled.
