Weekly Update: 14.5.19

So this week has been a slower reading week I haven’t completed any books at all!

I am about 150 pages into ‘Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Sword of Summer’ By Rick Riordan.

I am really enjoying it so far!

I am hoping to finish this before the end of the week.

I have put down both ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ By J.K. Rowling and ‘The Fever King’ By Victoria Lee. I am not DNFing them, I think I am just in a bit of a reading slump and I’m not vibing either at the minute. I do plan to get back to them soon.

I really haven’t been gravitating to reading at them moment, but I am hoping that I will be more inclined to pick up a book soon.

Weekly Update: 16.2.19

I think I am going to make this a regular thing! I really enjoy how it keeps track of my reading and makes me feel more accountable and like I’m achieving more (Which is never a bad thing)

This week I am still working my way through ‘Heir of Fire’ By Sarah J. Maas.

I am currently sitting at 320 pages.

I’m really hoping to finish it before the end of February.

I want to get to at page 450 before my next weekly update

I am also still working my way though ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ By J.K. Rowling.

I’m listening to this on Audio – because Stephen Fry is the greatest Narrator ever! Still at around chapter 8.

This is another one I am hoping to finish by the end of February.

This week hasn’t been nearly as hectic as last week but still have a lot on. Work has had me in bed super early all week, probably because I’m sick, but that’s ok.Today we are cleaning out some of the house we will be moving too so that we can fit some of out stuff in. So crazy that we are going to start moving some of our stuff!

June: TBR

For June, I’ve kind of decided NOT to stick to a To Be Read list. There are a few reasons for this.

  1. We are getting very close to the end of the school term and that means there is a lot, a lot to do.
  2. This also means that I am completely exhausted when I was finish work.
  3. I’m going to Greece in 16 Days! Which means I have a lot to organise for that and I also want to start thinking about books that I want to take to Greece to read while I’m relaxing on the beach.
  4. I just can’t choose which books to read ahead of time at the moment.

I do feel as though for most of the month I want to read some GREEK MYTHOLOGY based books to prepare myself for the mythological tour of Greece I’m going to be taking part in.

Currently Reading

So, this month – and probably for July as well – instead of a TBR post were I decide ahead of time what books I want to read and having a list to work on, I will do a quick post when I start a new book. A ‘What I’m currently reading’ type of thing.
