‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ By Sarah J. Maas was my first introduction to Fae worlds. I absolutely love the way the Sarah J. Maas portrays Fae it is always a good read.
I read ‘The Cruel Prince’ By Holly Black after completing the Court of Thorns and roses series and these Fae are quiet different! The focus in ‘The Cruel Price’ is more politically based and I really enjoyed that mix of Fae and a somewhat political Drama.
‘The Confectioner’s Guild’ By Claire Luana made this list for a different reason. I really enjoyed the book, I loved the concept of guilds surrounding food but it took me forever to read. I still have no idea why.
‘Children of Blood and Bone’ By Tomi Adeyemi is one that I’ve had on my TBR for so long, I just haven’t picked it up for some reason. Hopefully I can get to it soon!
‘Children of Time’ By Adrian Tchaikovsky is a SciFi that I haven’t heard too much about but looks really interesting. Its another one that I am super keen to get too!
‘The Birth of Tragedy’ By Friedrich Nietzsche was a book I needed to read during my ‘Crisis of meaning in the 21st Century’ class during my bachelors Degree. It was a book I was not expecting to enjoy as much as I did. I love the small snippets of thoughts.
‘Breaking Dawn’ By Stephanie Meyer is the 4th and final book in the Twilight series. When I first read this series, I devoured it as quickly as I could. I would still re read it to this day.
‘Bossypants’ By Tina Fey, One of the best autobiographies and audio book that I’ve listened too! I love Tina Fey so I am probably a little biased but it was a great glimpse into Tina as a person and a really fun read.
These are both books that start of series that I still haven’t gotten too! What?! Honestly I really need to pick up my game. I love the premise for both ‘The Bone Season’ by Samantha Shannon and ‘Before She Ignites’ By Jodi Meadows.
What are your most memorable reads that start with ‘B’?
I saw this challenge over on Lori’s Bookshelf Reads and it looked like a great idea so I thought I’d give it a go!
‘Assassin’s Blade’ By Sarah J. Maas was a great read. It really gave depth to the characters in Throne of Glass.
‘Arlo Finch in the ‘ Valley of Fire’ By John August was a book that I saw people unboxing in an Owl Crate and I ended up picking up from there. Would definitely recommend. Such a great Middle Grade story.
‘Artemis’ By Andy Weir is memorable because of how long it took me to read. I enjoyed the over all story but this 300ish page book took me 4 weeks to read!
‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ By Sarah J. Maas, is the book that really got me into Sarah J. Maas’s writing. I honestly smashed out this series in a month I was so addicted.
All of these are sequels and all are books I’m looking forward to getting to! ‘All the Wander Lights’ by Heather Fawcett is the sequel to ‘Even the Darkest Stars’. ‘Always and Forever Lara Jean’ by Jenny Han is the final book in the ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Trilogy. I am also looking forward to reading the sequel to ‘Arlo Finch in the Valley of fire’ By John August when I finally get my hands on it ‘Arlo Finch in the Lake of the Moon’.
