At the end of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured in New York with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escapes custody and sets about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

‘The Crimes of Grindelwald’ in the screenplay of the movie released in 2018 in the Wizarding World and the Fantastic Beasts film series. I saw the film and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I hadn’t picked up the first Fantastic beasts screenplay so I wasn’t going to pick this one up but I found it for a great price at Dymocks and I love the cover so thought why not?

I’m now really glad I picked it up!

I’m not about to sit here and say it was a 5 star read. It was good though. I enjoyed being able to read the remember each scene of the movie. It was actually a fun time.

I also found that I picked up on details that I either didn’t notice in the film or that were hard to get across in the movie. Honestly I really recommend this if you liked or were kinda in the middle about the film, it gives you a bit more information which is so helpful!
